In this city and for the next eleven years Maru Quiñonero’s sensitivity flirts with collage and explores figurative illustration until she finds its greatest expressive exponent in abstraction. Since 2017 she has studied colour as the main element of her work. She also investigates the use of it in both classical and contemporary artists.
