From the darkroom, with stop bath acid staining my fingers and the scent of chemicals blurring all sense of time, to long afternoons spent poring over Ansel Adams’ books. The Villa of Milada and František Müller in Prague, Czech Republic, built between 1928 and 1930, is the masterpiece of the architect Adolf Loos. He made original use of the concept of the so-called Raumplan and selected and designed the furnishings of the villa.
