House with a Large Roof . Salzburg
Although structurally and conceptually related, the three floors in this house offer unmistakably distinct spatial experiences. A deck open onto the garden and room-height doors connect the shared spaces arranged on the ground floor and protected by a monumental roof. The walls, painted white, are not aligned with the beams on the ceiling, as all the indoor spaces are oriented toward the garden. Much smaller, prefabricated structures, also with white wooden walls, are perched on the roof, which is not accessible.
