Throughout their career, Cabello/Carceller have frequently drawn on the iconography of cinema as a means toward formulating a critical examination of the socially imposed mechanisms of representation that permeate our cultural and political realms. Después de Chantal Akerman, Cabello/Carceller will continue with their well-established practice, in this case establishing a dialogue with the film Les Rendez-vous d’Anna by the artist and filmmaker Chantal Akerman.
