Landscapes # 1 . 2020
CABRITA has always been a total artist and, mostly, a classic one. Known for his sculptures in big or small size and his works on paper, he has never stopped painting since the beginning of the 80s’, which is when he started to become quite renowned. After a long time in which his paintings were mostly abstracts and connected to geometry in a way, during the latest years landscapes are his subjects. Perhaps this is because he is practically living in his home studio in the country of South Portugal.
