The Nursery.1306 plants for Timișoara is a 10 month temporary urban installation in Victory Square – Timișoara, Romania. The structure challenges conventional notions of urban design by seamlessly integrating greenery with a towering scaffolding installation. The building is designed like a windcatcher. The architecture is structured around a series of linear patios that capture the dominant winds in order to provide natural ventilation to the workspaces. This project is an extension of the existing La Marina municipal sports centre in Barcelona. The addition of this extension creates a new public space and redefines the main entrance of the sports centre. On the roof of the building is a swimming pool with a sliding roof, allowing the pool to operate as both an open-air and an indoor facility. The booth design for Salone del Mobile in Milano, proposed a reusable solution based on one material: fabric. The project aims to generate a simple, lightweight, and luminous environment by means of a set of textile layers that generate interconnected spaces, where furniture and the visitors’ flow coexist within a cloudy atmosphere where concepts of reuse, recycling and lightness constitute the expression of architecture itself.
